The
Association of Business Executives was founded in 1973 by a group of
industrialists, educationalists and politicians as a non profit-making
institution. The aim of the Association is the promotion and advancement of
efficient administration and management in industry, commerce and the public
service by the continued development of the study and practice of
administration and management. The primary objective of ABE is that
students successfully completing its examinations will be more effective
managers.

Pre-Requisites to enter the training at each stage:
Certificate
No formal qualifications are
required, but applicants must demonstrate competence in the English
Language, by the attainment of one of the following or equivalent:

CXC/GCE pass in English
language

British Council - Intermediate
Certificate in English/Upper Advanced Certificate in English
-
LCCI - English for Business (EFB)
1st or 2nd level
-
Confirmation by your college of
equivalent standard in the use of English
Diploma—Parts
1 and 2
1.
At least 18 years old with 5 O’levels and 2 A’levels OR
2.
ABE certificate in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality OR
3.
21 years and older with working experience of at least 2 years in
this or related field OR
4.
3 passes in LCCI 3rd level in relevant subjects
Advanced
Diploma
1. ABE Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality OR
2.
A degree, awarded by a recognised UK or overseas University OR
3.
Other recognised qualifications of approved overseas Institutions of
Higher Education
The advanced diploma papers are marked to the level of the second year of a
UK Business Studies degree programme.
