offered at the following levels:

Entry
requirements:
Basic
– exposure until form 3; persons with CXC grade III and below (before 1998)
or
GCE grades D/E.
Intermediate – a CXC
pass grades I or II; GCE pass grades A – C; successful completion
of the Basic level
Business (I) –
Completion of Intermediate level or CXC grade I or GCE grade A
Advanced Business (II)
– Completion of Business I or CXC grade I or GCE grade A
The
following will be expected to write a placement exam:
1.
Persons who have not been exposed to the language for 3 years
2.
Persons who have not done the language at CXC or GCE level but who
may have prior knowledge of the language
3.
Persons who are unsure of their level of knowledge
