are taught the fundamentals of communication in the travel industry, airline
geography, the manual reservations procedures, ticketing and fare
calculation.

Sabre Computerised Reservations
Students
are taught to use the system to book seats, price itineraries, cost airline
tickets and make adjustments to passengers’ files etc.

Applications and Practices of Airline
Reservations
This level consolidates levels 1 & 2.
Practical aspects of reservations including problem handling are done in a
simulated working reservations department of a travel agency.
4. Automated Ticketing
Issuing
automated and electronic tickets.
5. Automated
Cars & Hotel Reservations
A large
income is derived from commissions on car and hotel reservations. Travel
agents and airline reservations personnel should be very familiar with the
procedures of this programme.
